From Christian Werner, designer of the EVERYWHERE range of storage, now comes SELVANS, which is characterised by the use of grooved dark-stained walnut veneer on its fronts and sides. This grooved dark-stained walnut veneer is composed of slim panels clad in several layers of thick, mass-tinted veneer then finished in American walnut veneer. This thickness of ‘wood’ then makes it possible for the fronts to be grooved, revealing the “dark” layer beneath. Finally, a hand-applied surface treatment is applied (with a gun): stain + base + varnish. The width of the channels is 4 mm both at the top and in the hollow. The depth of the grooving is around 3.5 mm. Internal chest, handle and base finished in Chocolat lacquer. Fronts and sides in grooved dark walnut. Top in gloss black ceramic. Sideboard with sliding coplanar doors : side by side when closed, the doors pivot on opening, sliding one in front of the other. Supplied with a shelf behind each door.
