A project developed by 2 young graduates of the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg for a design competition held by the Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges, Rift aims to make more room for wood inside the home. It is a reinterpretation of the traditional technique of rod splitting. The legs are partially divided to allow various elements to lay within the structure and to streamline the silhouette of the stool. Bar stool in solid oak with black lacquered steel insert.
