Christian Ghion took inspiration from the African percussion instrument Djembe, which consists of a wooden chalice shaped base with a stretched goat or antelope skin top, to create Vibrato. Taking its name from the term for a regular, pulsating change in pitch of a musical note determined by the instrument as well as techinique of the musician, this occasional table is created with moulded enamelled stoneware in either sauman or marron. |
