In 2015, with Soft mag, Frédéric Ruyant merges a coffee table and its natural complement, a magazine rack. For this association, he plays with different materials: the top in ash wood gives warmth to the metal base, even if they share the same straight lines and are blended in the same black color. But it is the Divina fabric which provides a genuinely graceful link between the base and the top, thanks to the warmth and fluidity of the drooping of the wool on the magazine rack which resembles a suspended file holder.
